Tooth Loss

Tooth loss can be devastating. Chewing food and smiling can start affecting you. It is hard to break into an unselfconscious smile when you’re worried people will stare at the hollow space of your missing teeth.

What Happens if a Missing Tooth is Not Replaced?

When to Consider an Implant?

Why an implant is the best choice for replacing missing teeth?

How is the procedure done?

First a comprehensive exam is done to determine a treatment plan. Periodontal treatment may be needed. The first stage involves inserting the implant into the bone in the area of the missing tooth/teeth. After the bone heals and fuses to the surrounding bone, the 2nd stage is planned. An artificial crown is then fabricated and cemented on top of the implant. There is no damage to the adjacent teeth. The treatment period takes about 3-6 months in stages. Implants can be used for as long as 10 – 30 years depending on the care. Call us today to see if an implant is the best choice for replacing your missing teeth.

Dentures

Replace missing teeth to preserve your face, speech, and ability to eat.

Tooth loss affects your ability to speak and eat properly, collapse your facial profile changing the shape of your face, and making you appear older.

Dentures are removable false teeth. Dentures were the common treatment for missing teeth earlier but are being widely replaced with dental implants. They are still quite useful for some patients. Dentures can be of two types, partial, replacing only a few missing teeth and a complete denture, replacing all the teeth in an entire jaw.

Dentures

Custom-Fit for Natural Tooth Replacement.

Dentures are one of the options to not only replace missing teeth, but also prevent surrounding teeth from shifting and changing position in reaction to the loss of the adjacent teeth. Modern dentures are custom fitted and are made to match the color of your adjacent teeth. They are more natural looking these days.

Call us to find out if denture is the option to replace your missing teeth, if any!
